Actress Naya Rivera raised eyebrows yesterday while talking about
hygiene on The View by saying that bathing everyday is "such a white
person thing…".
Big Sean's former fiancee made the silly comment after one of the show
hosts mentioned that she showers three times a day (once before the
show, once after the show and once before bed).
That's when Naya made the comment to the panel, explaining;
"I feel like showering more than once a day or every day is such a
white people thing. My mom is half Black, half Puerto Rican, she
showers every day, so I can say this. But I'm now married to a white
man. He showers a lot, like 2, 3 times a day. I'm like, "What are you
doing?"' '
Naya also admitted she only showers every few days;
'So the study says, a dermatologist says you are only supposed to
shower once or twice every three days, so I'm right on the mark.'
Later, after Black Twitter dragged her by her hair, the Glee star
insisted she was just joking...
