Could this be termed cheap popularity, or five minutes of fame for Monika? Maybe not.
Beyoncé has been sued by a Hungarian performer who claims the Grammy-winning singer used her voice without permission for her hit song Drunk In Love.
The lawsuit filed by Monika Miczura, also known as Mitsou, claimed that Beyoncé, husband Jay Z and producer Timbaland used a Roma folk song she recorded in 1995 for the first 13 seconds of the song, according to an article on Monday by TMZ.
Beyoncé, 33, and Jay-Z, 45, were featured together in the critically-acclaimed song that was included in her self-titled studio album released in 2013.

Mitsou claimed the track used her song Bajba, Bajba Pelem by digitally manipulating her voice with Auto-Tune and editing. The song opens with Arabic-scale vocal arpeggios before transitioning into more familiar hip hop music elements. Mitsou also claimed in her lawsuit that Beyoncé transformed her song about hopelessness 'to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics.'
The lawsuit was seeking damages and also a court order prohibiting anyone from playing the song with her voice.
Drunk In Love was one of two singles released by Columbia Records from Beyoncé's surprise album that she released online with no promotion.
Beyoncé and Jay-z memorably performed the song together at the 56th annual Grammy Awards in January.
