There was an explosion at the Central Mosque in Kano this afternoon as Muslim faithfuls were holding their Friday Jumat service. It's the same Mosque where Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido, former CBN governor, usually leads prayers, but it's reported that he wasn't there this afternoon when the bomb went off.
