British Rapper Suspected to be Masked Man That Be-headed American Journalist, James Foley

A British rapper, L jinny, has been fingered as the prime suspect in
the be-heading of US Journalist, James Foley.

Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary — who recently tweeted a photo of himself
holding up a severed head — was among three Brits identified as
possibly being the masked killer known as "John the Beatle."

Bary, 24, is the son of an Egyptian-born militant who is awaiting
trial on terror charges tied to the deadly 1998 bombings of embassies
in Kenya and Tanzania.

Also under investigation are the brother of a British doctor once
charged with kidnapping two Western war correspondents, and a former
gang member who converted to Islam and traveled to Syria,
Britain'sTelegraph newspaper reported.

Reportedly, Bary is from West London and used to go by the name L
Jinny, and even got play on BBC Radio 1. However, last year he left
London and moved to Syria after becoming "radicalized" by the
teachings of Anjem Choudary.

Bary is one of the three British expats turned jihadists referred to
as "The Beatles" due to their British accents.

Foley was kidnapped in Syria on Thanksgiving 2012 while working for
the GlobalPost agency.

He was taken hostage at gunpoint by militants from the group Jabhat al
Nusra while reporting from Taftanaz, northern Syria.

Disturbing footage of his execution appeared on YouTube last week in a
video titled 'A message to the US', in which an apparently coerced
Foley, 40, recites a pre-prepared script presumably given to him by
his captors which he delivers unflinchingly to the camera.

Foley also leaves a haunting message for his brother, John, who he is
heard to say is either a past or serving member of the US Air Force.

Referring to airstrikes launched nearly two weeks ago in Iraq, Foley
says: 'I died that day, John, when your colleagues dropped that bomb
on these people. They signed my death certificate'.
